Before the color,

    I put the first idea on paper — finding the character, the pose, and the feeling of the scene.

  2. Trace & refine

    I recreate or trace the sketch on the computer, refining the drawing as it takes shape digitally.

  3. Bring in color

    Color, light, and atmosphere bring the drawing together into the finished illustration.
